Valentine's Day
The last of my first three day weekend in quite some time, an it's set to be an epic day! Bitter cold this morning, and over night dipped to -10°, but we managed to keep our water pipes from freezing!
The kiddos woke us up for Valentine's Day treats. Super excited. They don't quite understand the difference in holidays. Xmas, Valentine's Day, there's no distinction. It must be interesting to view the world from their perspective.
Our morning was filled with cards, candy, cookies, coffee and love, and it soon morphed into the scene of tiny super heroes running a muck! I couldn't help but join them! An old t-shirt and some scissors, and we were transformed!
So after we conquered the world and rid it of all the bad guys, we needed to move on to the serious business of making Nonna and Papa some epic cards.
So, I'll chalk it up as a successful morning for sure! My Valentine even snagged me some Golden Oreos (my all time fave) and whipped up a delicious cup of coffee to go with them! After a quick engagement shoot in the snow this afternoon, we're dropping the kids by Nonna's house and spending the rest of our day as a Valentine couple! Lowes and Home Depot for scoping out kitchen cabinet options, then it's on to dinner for two! I can't wait!
A Day at Home
It's been a very long time since I had a chance to spend the majority of an entire Saturday with my kiddos. Today, I'm doing just that! With the minor distraction of an oil change, this day is all about hangin at home with my family! Here's to shenanigans, snacks, and a lazy afternoon piled up in the floor to watch a movie! I can't wait!!

Journey Below 200 | Day Fourteen
A New Day
I haven't weighed less than 200 pounds in over a decade. I weighed 180 pounds when I graduated from high school in 2000. My journey below 200 began about a year ago. I weighed 285 pounds at my heaviest. I've learned almost anything is possible. If I stay focused, it's only a matter of time.
This is for my son.
