Magnolia Photography | Indian Creek Farm

In the Spring of 2021, we headed to Indian Creek Farm to shoot on location with our kids. It had been a long winter during the pandemic, and my wife felt a desire to shoot again. The light she captured at this shoot was breathtaking, and it inspired her to open another portrait studio in Upstate New York. Since I was learning to pilot drones, I decided to grab some footage of my family in the orchard during the shoot. Holly was truly in her element here, and it was amazing to watch her work! I will cherish the images she captured of our kids that day for years to come.

making bread

During COVID-19, Holly has been encouraging me to begin learning to make a few things in the kitchen. This morning she taught me to make homemade bread!

I haven’t ever devoted much time to learning my way around a kitchen, and my culinary skills are nearly non-existent, but she has gracefully enticed me to join her and begin to understand the basics. Together, we’ve made three items now, and each time we collaborate my interest continues to grow.

It’s especially nice to have such a beautiful teacher, and I’m enjoying spending time with her in a new way!
